<p><p>BECKLEY, WV – Jean Furrow, age 75, passed away on Friday, February 9, 2024, at the Bowers Hospice House in Beckley, WV. Born March 24, 1948, in Wikel, WV, she was the daughter of the late Earl Edgar and Jacquelene “Jackie” Meredith Worrell.</p><p><br></p><p>Jean was a member of the Indian Creek Primitive Baptist Church in Greenville, WV. She worked as a Budget Analyst for the U.S. Department of Justice. She enjoyed puzzles and word searches. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.</p><p><br></p><p>In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gary Wayne Furrow. Those left to cherish her memory include one son, Scott Furrow and wife April of Shady Spring, WV; one daughter, Jennifer “Jenny” Furrow of Monroe County, WV; two grandchildren, Gary Furrow and Sarah Furrow; three sisters, Patricia McKay and husband Michael of Purcellville, VA, Victoria Arthur and husband Tom of Rustburg, VA, and Pamela Boggs of Pickaway, WV; and long-time friend, Frank Free.</p><p><br></p><p>Visitation will be held from 11:00AM until 12:00PM on Thursday, February 15, 2024, at the Broyles-Shrewsbury Funeral Home in Peterstown, WV.
