Marcia Iris Rogers, 69, of Darlington, MD, died at home on Thursday, February 8, 2024. Marcia was born in Baltimore, MD, to her late parents, Herman Bernard and Mary Katherine (Austin) Keaton. Her beloved husband, Samuel Rufus Rogers preceded her in death.

Marcia was a strong willed and determined woman, who never let any obstacle, whether big or small stand in her way. She was a beautiful woman and loved her family dearly. She reveled in time spent with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her family will miss her great listening ear and her sage advice that she freely offered to them. She enjoyed quiet time with her animals, watching her favorite TV show, Little House on the Prairie. She also enjoyed cooking, baking and enjoying a good cup of coffee with anyone around her table.

Marcia is survived by her children; Aaron Wade Keaton and his fiancée, Holly, of Havre de Grace, MD, Samuel Anthony Rogers and his wife, Heather, of Abingdon, MD and Bryan Bernard Rogers and his wife, Laura, of Darlington, MD. She is survived by her ten grandchildren; Dakotah Brooks, Christopher Keaton, Rebekah Keaton, Zoey Keaton, Courtney Stark, Kayla Stark, Tyler Rogers, Rachel Rogers, Bryan Rogers, Jr., Alivia Rogers and by her three great grandchildren, Stevie Marie Keaton, Charles Berry and Jacob Berry. In addition she is survived by her two sisters, Cheryl Hogan, of Munday, WV and Felicia Lambros, of Edgewood, MD.

In addition to her beloved husband and parents, Marcia was predeceased by her siblings, Linda Livingston, Randy Keaton and Rebecca Keaton.

A private inurnment will be held at the Keaton Family Cemetery in Pipestem, WV, at the convenience of the family.
