It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Edith Fiander formerly of English Harbour West, NL. She passed peacefully away at the HSC on Saturday February 10th, 2024, surrounded by her loving family whom she adored very much.

Edith leaves to mourn her loving family: daughter, Marie (Perry) at Edmonton, Alberta; sons, Tony (Wendy) at Kilbride, NL, Roger (Trina) at Paradise, NL and Robert (Tina) at CBS, NL; grandchildren, Kaitlin, Kristin, Anthony, Andrew, Lewis, Johnathan, Caitlin and Haley; great grandchildren, Landen, Charlie, Mackenzie and Arizona; sister, Melita (Matthew); as well as a large circle of friends and family.

She was predeceased by her husband, Charles; parents, John and Sarah May; brothers, Freeman, Charles, James and Frank; sister, Pearl; her great granddaughter, Brooklyn.

Edith was born in Point Rosie. At a young age Edith moved to English Harbour West where she met and married the love of her life Charles and together raised four wonderful children. They later moved to Bishop Falls where they resided until the passing of her husband, Charles. Shortly after Edith moved to Heritage Square Retirement Living, CBS. There she lived the remaining years of her life to the fullest, making new friends and enjoying time with her family.

Interment Service to follow at a later date at the St. Thomas Anglican Cemetery, English Harbour West.
