Jean Tetrault-Dixon, age 92, of Oak Hill, WV passed away Friday, February 9, 2024, at home. Jean was born on September 1, 1931, in Islip, NY to Alfred E. Tetrault and Muriel Augusta Burr-Tetrault.

Jean was a teacher’s aide at St. Andrew’s daycare. She was a member of Lochgelly Baptist Church and Fayette County Cancer Support. Jean loved to read books, do artwork, and many other hobbies.

She is preceded in death by her mother Muriel Augusta Burr-Tetrault, father Alfred E. Tetrault, husband William Henry Dixon III, daughter Lori Jean Dixon, son William Henry Dixon IV, and 2 brothers Gary Tetrault and Alfred Tetrault.

Those left to cherish her memory include her son David Dixon and his wife Mary Kay, daughter Rebecca J. Olds, grandchildren David Brian Dixon Jr., Rachael James, Preston Kincaid, Jacob Navicki, Michael (Tate) Howerton, and Dan Evans, a sister Donna Durkovic of Lake Ariel, PA, and a great-granddaughter Avery Mae Evans.

Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, February 14, 2024, at High Lawn Funeral Home with Pastor Bill McClung officiating. Interment will follow in High Lawn Memorial Park.

Friends may call on the family from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Tuesday, February 13, 2024, at High Lawn Funeral Home.
