ANNA LEE PITMAN COOK, the daughter of the late Clayton and Emma McKinney Pitman, was born in Lee County, Kentucky on November 10, 1956, and departed this life in Lexington, Kentucky on February 7, 2024, at the age of 67 years, 2 months, and 28 days. She was a former deputy clerk for the Lee County Circuit Clerks’ office.

Mrs. Cook is survived by two daughters, Amanda Cromer and husband Haank of Mt. Vernon, Kentucky and Jessica O’Brien and husband Tyler of Richmond, Kentucky; four grandchildren, Parker, Olivia, Sarah, and Lauren; her sisters and brother; Mavis Jones of South Lebanon, Ohio, Herman Pitman of Richmond, Kentucky, and Linda Overbee of Beattyville; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Mrs. Cook was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Blanche Ross and Vada Cole; and a brother, James Pitman.
