Alfred Craig Waters Obituary

Alfred Craig Waters, was born on August 19, 1959 in Salisbury, Maryland to the late Madelyn C. Palmer and Alfred “Bus” Waters. “Craig,” as he was affectionately called, was called home on February 7, 2024 at Coastal Hospice in Salisbury, Maryland.

Craig received his education in the Accomack County Public Schools system and graduated from Atlantic High School in 1977. He became an over-the-road trucker when he was nineteen and drove for over forty years. As a self-proclaimed “Hustler,” he was best known by his peers as the “Virginia/VA Hustla.” Trucking was his passion and he taught a lot of others how to drive trucks too, including some of his children. Craig was no stranger to hard work and was often called to help others out with mechanical work on cars, trucks, and motorcycles. He loved God and rededicated his life back to Christ in 2001.

Preceding him in death are his parents, Madelyn C. Palmer and Alfred Waters; sister, Slyvesti Hinmon; and brother, Larry Palmer.
