<p><p>Steven Dewayne Collins the son of Robert Steven Collins and Deborah (Ferrell) Mathews was born December 4, 1994, in Stilwell, Oklahoma and he departed this life on February 7, 2024, in Ft. Smith, Arkansas at the age of 29 years, 2 months and 3 days.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p>Wayne was a simple man who preferred to remain quiet unless he had something important to say. However, his love for cars was quite the opposite. He desired his cars to be fast and loud, always seeking the thrill of speed. Wayne's love language was evident in the way he expressed his affection. If he took the time to change the muffler on your car, it was a clear sign of his love for you. He was not about to let anyone he loved drive around with a bad sounding vehicle. Wayne found joy in life, particularly in the company of his beloved family. He relished the outdoors and found pleasure in engaging in various activities. Wayne's passion for cars was evident as he spent countless hours working on them, constantly striving to make them faster and louder. Almost overshadowing his love for cars was his appetite for beef jerky and Mtn Dew. Additionally, Wayne took great pride in caring for his animals and was an avid gun enthusiast. Whether he was tinkering with his cars, shooting his guns, tending to his animals, or simply savoring some beef jerky, Wayne found true happiness in these simple moments. On May 8, 2021, he married the love of his life, Haley Ketcher. </p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p>Throughout his life, Wayne found solace and strength in his faith. His belief in God brought him comfort and guided him through life's challenges. His unwavering trust in a higher power provided him with hope and peace. He fought the good fight of faith.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p>He was preceded in death by his mother Deborah (Ferrell) Mathews, sister Kim Collins, and grandfather and best buddy Wylie Howard Ferrell.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p>He is survived by a loving family which includes his wife Haley Collins of the home; his father Steve Collins and wife Patsy of Monroe, OK; his nephew whom he was raising Skylar Ketcher of the home; his sister Trish Cash of Ft. Smith; his brother Wyatt Raymond Moore of Siloam Springs; his grandmother Mildred Ferrell of Stilwell, and his cousin Logan Ferrell of Duncan. Several nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives also survive him.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><br></p></p>
