Bernard Everett Nauss Obituary

Bernard E. Nauss

On Tuesday, Feb. 6th, Bernard E. Nauss of Chester died peacefully at home while surrounded by family. Bernie, along with his brothers, worked for MT&T until retirement. He specialized in business and loved making friends with his customers and coworkers. By retirement he had many friends all over the HRM. He loved travelling and visiting friends. He was particularly fond of his multi month trip circling North America. Because of his love for travel he found a second career in trucking and continued his travels with his wife and puppy coming along for the ride. He spend many nights in his final years happily retelling stories of their adventures and doting on his granddaughter Ellen.

He will be greatly missed by his many friends and family, but never forgotten.

He is survived by his wife, Linda (Bremner), son Kevin (Sonja), brother Wayne (Margie), sisters: Betty (Craig), Joan, Marilyn, sister-in-law Sharon, and his beloved granddaughter Ellen. He is predeceased by his mother Avis, Step-father Jim, brothers Dale and Ronnie, brothers-in-law Wayne Keddy (Marilyn) and Jim Dacey (Joan). There will be a celebration of life this Summer. A donation can be made in his name to the Chester Volunteer Fire Department.
