John Lowell Roberts, age 82, passed away February 5, 2024. He was born July 6, 1941 to the late John Jake Roberts and Mildred Williams Roberts in Jerome, Arkansas. John was a resident of Crossett, Arkansas and grew up in McGehee, Arkansas. He worked at the Maine Movie Theatre in McGehee, Arkansas and worked at Leisure Lodge Nursing Home in Crossett, Arkansas where he retired. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Crossett, Arkansas. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish, and enjoyed watching westerns. He was loved by many, and took care of his mother until her death. He will be missed by his remaining friends and family.

Other than his parents, he is preceded in death by his grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is survived by a host of cousins and his special friends Dan (Judy) Kersey of Crossett, AR, Mike (Stacy) Webb, of Crossett, AR, Ben (Kay) Johnson, and David Johnson of Crossett, AR

A visitation will be held Thursday, February 8, 2024 from 2:30 to 3:30, at McGehee Cemetery Pavilion. A graveside service will be held Thursday, February 8, 2024 at 3:30 pm, at McGehee Cemetery Pavilion with Rev. Bryan Diffee and Rev. Matt Daniels officiating. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to First United Methodist Church of Crossett, Arkansas at 500 Main Street, Crossett, AR 71635.
