He enjoyed playing golf and tennis. </p><p><br></p><p>John is the beloved husband for 40 years of Audrey I. Newman. Devoted father of Douglas and his wife Joanne, Suzanne and her husband, Daniel and Thomas and his wife, Marla. Cherished by 9 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.</p><p><br></p><p>Private cremation services under the direction of Ferguson-Vernon Funeral Home, 241 Route 94, Vernon, NJ.
