Laura Francis (Olson) Calder , 95, died peacefully at home on February 4, 2024 surrounded by family. She was born November 16, 1928 in Lubec the daughter of the late Harold and Doris (Seeley) Olson.

She was predeceased by her husband Neil Calder; six brothers, and a sister.

She is survived by her four children- James, Anna, Craig, and Joe and his wife Dunna; a special sister Rhoda Eaton and her family ; three sister-in-law; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren; nieces,nephews, and cousins.

Her family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Abrams, the Lubec Medical Center Staff, and Hospice for the excellent care she received. Those who wish, may make donations in her memory to the West Lubec Methodist Church.

Arrangements for memorial services will be announced at a later date.
