Robert A. Girouard

GRAFTON: Robert A. Girouard, 81, passed away February 2, 2024 at Cedarwood Gardens in Franklin following an illness. He leaves his children James Girouard and his wife Dawn, Wendy Balanca and her husband Jack, Rob Girouard and his wife Tina and Ginger Bumpus and her husband Bruce, his sister Joyce Lindblad her husband Rollie and their daughter Robin. He was a loving “Pep” and Pepere to 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Robert was born December 29, 1942 in Northbridge, MA, son of the late Noella (Choquette) and Armand Girouard. He lived in Grafton for most of his life, he was a firefighter in Northbridge years ago and he worked as a Machinist at Wyman Gordon in North Grafton for many years. Away from work Bob was always up for a game of pool, darts, horseshoes, cards or a round of golf with friends. He loved to hop on his snowmobile and motorcycle and made numerous friends at his seasonal campgrounds.

All are welcome to gather with Robert’s family and friends Wednesday February 7 from 4-7 p.m. at Roney Funeral Home 152 Worcester St. N. Grafton, MA 01536 funeral service at 11:30am in the funeral home which will be available via livestream at https://client.tribucast.com/tcid/2723499738. He will then be laid to rest at Fairview Cemetery in South Grafton.
