Thibodeau, of New Britain, passed away at the young age of 101, on Saturday, February 3, 2024 at The Hospital of Central Connecticut with his dear grandson, Scott Thibodeau, by his bedside. Even though a failing heart took him away from this world, his loving heart left a beacon of light and love to all who knew him. Al was born in Haverhill, Massachusetts, on March 28, 1922, 1 of 9 children. He married Agnes Burke on May 25, 1947, and together for 57 years, built their life and family in New Britain where they raised their four sons, Gary, Billy, Tommy and Jimmy. Al was also a puzzle and book enthusiast and enjoyed watching his favorite team, the Boston Red Sox. His fondest memories was taking his family on vacation to Salisbury Beach in Massachusetts.
