Nick Cula Jr., 79 of Weirton, WV, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 3, 2024 at Brightwood Center with the assistance of Valley Hospice and his family by his side.

Nick was born on March 14, 1944 in Steubenville, OH. He was the son of the late Nickola Cula Sr. and Pauline (Anilovar) Cula.

Nick owned and operated Three Springs Auto Sales, Weirton, WV and worked at Weirton Steel Corp for 30 years in the Mechanic and Railroad Departments.

In addition to his parents, Nick was preceded in death by his two sisters, Daisy Pritt and Mary DiNovo.

Nick is survived by his wife of 57 years, Sharon (Barton) Cula of Weirton, two daughters, Lynette Carte and her husband, Kevin of Weirton, WV, and Janeen Sauvageot and her husband, Scott of Follansbee, WV, five grandchildren, Katie and Claire Sauvageot, Brittany Fuller and her husband, Jeremy, Nicholas and wife, Kaitlyn Carte and Connor Carte, a great grandson, Bryce Carte and nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received on Saturday, February 10, 2024 from 11:00 AM until time of Memorial Service at 12 Noon at Memorial Baptist, 121 Ivy Street, Weirton, WV.

Family suggest, no flowers or memorial contributions; however, share a smile to a friend or a neighbor as you share Nick’s love and life in the community as a living memorial.
