<p>In Loving Memory of Roger John Collins (April 15, 1965 - January 30, 2024)</p><p><br></p><p>With heavy hearts, we announce the sudden passing of Roger John Collins. A pillar of strength in our lives. Roger, aged 58, was a beloved grandfather, father, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, and friend. He has left an unfillable void in this world.</p><p><br></p><p>Born to Ernest and Bernice Collins, Roger was predeceased by his father (Ernest Collins) and grandparents. </p><p><br></p><p>Left with cherished memories are his mother Bernice, his grandson; Bryer, his children; Roger (Allison), Melanie (Daniel), the mother of his children, Colleen, and daughter by choice Monique (Justin). </p><p><br></p><p>All 13 of his siblings are left to mourn, Rob (Betty), Charmaine (Sam), Ted (Leah), Dianne (Carson-deceased), Rick (Excie), Cindy (Bob), Shawn (Laurie), Leon (Yvonne), Elaine (Brian-deceased), Kimberly (Ed), Kirk (Paula), Brad (Nadine), and Kellie (Dave). </p><p>In addition, he has left to mourn many nieces, nephews, close friends, and relatives.</p><p><br></p><p>Roger will be fondly remembered for his fierce love and loyalty for family and the close friends he held dear. He was known for his calm, comforting demeanor, unparalleled generosity, and incomparable work ethic. He took immense pride in being a father and found great happiness in Roger and Melanie’s accomplishments. The delight of his grandson Bryer’s birth, expanded the love Roger had for his family.</p><p><br></p><p>We invite you all to celebrate the life of Roger. Visitation will take place on Sunday, February 4, 2024 at Oram's Funeral Home Dover from 2:30-4pm and 7-9pm. </p><p><br></p><p>Funeral service will be held at The Salvation Army, in Hare Bay on Monday, February 5, 2024 at 11am. </p><p>Service will be lived steamed to Oram's Funeral Homes Facebook Page.</p><p><br></p><p>Cremation to follow with internment on Tuesday, February 6, 2024 at 11am, at The Salvation Army Lockyers Bay Cemetery.</p><p><br></p><p>Let's all commemorate Roger by remembering the love and affection he brought into our lives.
