Billy Ray McWhorter, husband of Linda Joyce Gross McWhorter of Cincinnati, Ohio and the son of the late Earl Ray and Hazel Lovins McWhorter was born in Irvine, Kentucky on October 7, 1948 and departed this life in Cincinnati, Ohio on January 31, 2024 at the age of 75 years, 3 months, and 24 days. He was a former Diesel Mechanic of Queen City Motors, a toy car collector and a hot rod enthusiast.

In addition to his wife, Linda, Billy Ray is survived by two sons, Jeff Ray McWhorter and wife Kathy and Jason Ray McWhorter and wife Jaime; three grandchildren, Madison, Aubrey, and Liam McWhorter all of Cincinnati, Ohio; and a host of other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
