<p>~~~~~~~~~~</p><p><br></p><p>Barbara (Scott) Thompson passed peacefully in Palliative Care at the Brockville General Hospital, surrounded by much love in her final hours. She will be loved and missed by her loving and so dedicated husband William (Bill) Thompson; her son Christopher and his wife Leslie, along with their children Liam and Quinn. </p><p><br></p><p>Barb was predeceased by her parents Walter and Louisa Scott; by her brother Billy Scott, by her mother and father-in-law Ella and George Thompson, a sister-in-law Jenny Clifford (Eddie), and a brother-in-law John Thompson. </p><p><br></p><p>Barbara leaves behind her loving siblings Violet Scott (Lloyd Votary), Shirley Boyd (David), Joy Clow (William deceased), Laura St. Amand (Neil deceased), Kathryn Ramdeen (John), Robert Scott (Cecilia), Hugh Scott (Fern), Nancy Scott, Mary Tetlock (Rod) and Carol Rollich (Randy) as well as many nieces and nephews. </p><p><br></p><p>Family and friends may pay their respects at the Irvine Memorial Chapel at Roselawn, 2451 County Road 15, Maitland, on Thursday, February 1st, 2024 from 11 am - 12:45 pm. A service in celebration of Barb's life will be held in the chapel at 1 pm followed by interment in Roselawn Memorial Gardens and a reception. </p><p><br></p><p>Donations to the Brockville and District Hospital Foundation Palliative Care will be gratefully acknowledged. </p><p><br></p><p>Send condolences or share a special thought of Barb on the Memory Wall above.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><br></p>
