<p><p>Joey Ray Young the son of Loyce and Florene (Philpott) Young was born December 26, 1960, in Sallisaw, Oklahoma and departed this life on January 28, 2024, in Westville, Oklahoma at the age of 63 years, 1 month and 2 days.</p><p><br></p><p>Joe enjoyed life and he loved his family. He enjoyed being outdoors whether he was working in the garden, cooking out or swimming. Joe loved family gatherings and he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Joe touched many lives over the years and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.</p><p><br></p><p>He was preceded in death by his father Loyce Ralph Young; and his brother Lewis Young. </p><p><br></p><p>He is survived by a loving family which includes his mother Florene Young of Westville; his longtime girlfriend Vickie Nofire of Briggs and her children Victoria Rose of Proctor and Amanda Ingram of Briggs and their children Gary, Breanna, Mandi, Hidie, and Zaily; his brother Grover Young of Proctor; and his sisters Mildred Birt of Westville, Janice Edgemon and husband Fred of Westville and Nita Parret and husband Alen of Watts. Several nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives also survive him.</p></p>Obituary
