Joshua James Domingue

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, January 30,2024 at 3:00 P.M. in the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel in Rayne for Joshua “Josh” Domingue, 35, who passed away on Saturday, January 27, 2024, at 3:26 A.M. at Oschner Lafayette General Hospital in Lafayette.

Pastor Adams, Pastor of the First Baptist Church in Church Point will be officiating for the services.

Survivors include his mother, Julia Babineaux of Rayne; his father, Dallas Bourque, Sr. of Branson, MI; five brothers, Carrol Domingue of Lafayette; Todd, Nick, Dallas, Jr., and Tyler Bourque all of Branson, MI; two sister, Tasha Holmes, and Kaysha Rich both of Branson, MI; three nieces, Keyliegh Domingue, Baylynn Mallett, and Faith Lee Boutin; two nephews, Ryder Stelly, and Damian Sabastian.

Josh was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Lucille Babineaux, and “Nego” Joseph Domingue; aunt, and uncle, Rena Goulas, Michael “Mike” Domingue, and Geneva Degeyter.

Josh loved his mama and loved working with his chickens. He enjoyed children even though he didn’t have any of his own. He enjoyed playing video games. He was a homebody. He didn’t like to socialize, but loved people. He loved loved, music and all kinds and he listened to it very loud. Once you made a friend with him that was for life.
