DYKE, Luella-

On Wed. Apr. 11, 2012 at St. Michael's Hospital, Luella Jennie Ann Dyke (née Stewart) gently passed away in the presence of her family at the age of 78. Dear sister of Freda Storms, Bessie Freeman, Marion Cox, and of her late brothers Charlie and Herb Stewart. Loving wife of the late Hugh Ernest Lorne Dyke; beloved mother of Sandra Burke (David), Jason (Frantzia), Jennifer, Allan and Victor Dyke; and proud "nanna" to her adoring grandson Jordan. Luella was a voracious reader and, in honour of her great love, her sons and daughters took turns reading to her as she passed from this world. May her next chapter be blessed. Our thanks to the staff of St. Michael's for their compassionate care. Private cremation has taken place but a celebration of Luella's life will be scheduled at a future date in both Peterborough and the Kingston area.
