John Francis Drayer, Jr. peacefully passed on January 25, 2024. A cherished and respected member of our community, John was the adored husband of his late wife, Dorothy Louise Drayer (nee Holloway). He was a loving and supportive father to Shirley Ford and her husband Russ, Suzi Kale and her husband Troy. John took pride in being a grandfather to Brandon Kale and his wife Ashley, and a delighted great-grandfather to Turner Kale. He was predeceased by his sister, Leona Schleicher, and brother-in-law, Harry Schleicher, Sr.

John's legacy extends to his role as a caring uncle to Louise Gruzs and her husband Don, and Harry Schleicher, Jr., along with his late wife Natalie. He also leaves behind a host of treasured cousins, friends, and community members who were touched by his kindness and generosity.

We welcome friends and family to join us in celebrating John's life at E.F. Lassahn Funeral Home, P.A., located at 11750 Belair Road, Kingsville. Visitation will be on Thursday, February 1, 2024, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, followed by funeral services at 1:00 pm. John will be lovingly laid to rest at Parkwood Cemetery, leaving a lasting legacy of love and fond memories.
