Obituary

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Joseph Frazzitta, who left us on January 25, 2024, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of all who knew him. Born on July 27, 1939, Joseph was the cherished center of his family, a source of love, wisdom, and unwavering faith.

A man of simple pleasures, Joseph found joy in fishing, golfing, and boating, creating timeless memories with those he held dear. His warm smile and gentle spirit reflected the Catholic values he held close to his heart, leaving a lasting impression on family and friends alike. He will be deeply missed by those fortunate to have known him.

Joseph's love story of 64 years with his devoted wife, Maureen, was an enduring example of companionship. As a dedicated father to Clara, Marie, and Frank, he instilled values of love and resilience that will endure through generations and his absence leaves a void that can never be filled.

Joseph also leaves behind a cherished legacy embraced by his 8 grandchildren, whom he loved dearly.

May his soul rest in eternal peace, and may the memories we shared with him continue to inspire and guide us. The wake will be held at Leo Kearns Funeral Home in East Meadow on Monday, January 29th, from 2:00 - 4:00 pm and 7:00 - 9:00 pm, followed by a Catholic memorial service held on Tuesday, January 30th at 10:00 am at St. Raphael RC Church in East Meadow.

In lieu of flowers, we kindly ask that you consider making a donation to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. As we bid farewell to Joseph, may we continue to celebrate his life and cherish the memories he left behind. Rest in peace, Joe Ray.
