Levi Daugherty

Levi Daugherty Jr. ran into the arms of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday, January 27, 2024 in Fayetteville, Arkansas at the age of 60. He was born to Levi and Ruby (Vann) Daugherty in Tahlequah, Oklahoma on April 25, 1963.

He was preceded in death by his parents, an infant sister, sister-in-law Frances Daugherty and great nephew Jeffrey Scott, father-in-law John Edward Davis and mother-in-law Melba Darlene Cluck.

Jr. married the love of his life, Jerrie, over 27 years ago. In that union they adopted six children. He was recently diagnosed with stage 4 cancer and through the ordeal he gave his life to the Lord. He found joy and comfort being with his family. His grandkids were his life. He was a fluent Cherokee speaker and enjoyed passing that knowledge on to anyone who would listen. He loved the outdoors and preferred to spend his time out by a fire.

Left to cherish his memories are his wife Jerrie Dalene Daugherty of the home; children Billy Davis and wife Rebecca of Morrow, AR, Skylar Daugherty and wife Cassie of Morrow, AR, Tyrone Daugherty of Stilwell, OK, Tommy Daugherty and wife Jessica of Westville, OK, Daira Moore of Morrow, AR, Jassen Daugherty and companion Justine Nakedhead of Morrow, AR, Clifford Holt and wife Natasha of Lincoln, AR; siblings Edward Daugherty of Stilwell, OK, Tootsie Summers of Stilwell, OK, Karla Daugherty of Stilwell, OK; aunt Mildred Wofford of Stilwell, OK; uncle Leonard Vann of Tahlequah, numerous nieces, nephews, 17 grandchildren and other relatives also survive him.
