Passed peacefully away at Carmelite House at Grand Falls-Windsor on Friday, January 26, 2024, Raymond Wayne Skinner, age 64 years of Harbour Breton.

Raymond leaves to mourn his loving family: wife, Charlene, of 35 years married; son, Gregory (Jen) at Harbour Breton; daughters, Raylene (Troy Roberts) at Seal Cove and April Skinner at Harbour Breton; grandchildren, Pacey, Peyton and Raymond Jr.; brothers, William Skinner (Sadie) at Red Earth Creek, AB, Albert Skinner (Marie) at Port au Bras and Cecil Leachman at St. John’s; sisters, Bessie Snook at Marystown, Audrey Savoury (Bill) at Belleoram and Brenda Dicks (Shawn) at Springdale; brothers in law, Frank Osborne (Audrey), William Osborne (Rita) and Keith Osborne all at Little Bay East; as well as a large circle of other relatives and friends.

Raymond was predeceased by his grandmother, (Mom) Julia Skinner; grandfather, (Dad) William Skinner; brother, Kevin Skinner; sister (Mother), Alfreda Savoury (Murdock); sisters, Alice Stacy, Stella Stoodley, Elsie Saunders and Linda Leachman-Drummond; parents in law, James and Olive Osborne; sister in law, Gloria Osborne.

Visitations took place at Spencer’s Funeral Home at Harbour Breton on Sunday, January 28 and Monday, January 29 from 2pm to 4pm and from 7pm to 9pm both days.

Funeral Service was held at Spencer’s Funeral Home Chapel at Harbour Breton on Tuesday, January 30, 2024 at 11:00am with Rev. Jonathan Durdle officiating.
