Kenneth Richard "Richie" Wade Jr.

PETERSTOWN, WV – Kenneth Richard Wade, Jr., better known as “Richie”, age 45, passed away on Thursday, January 25, 2024, at his home in Bozoo, WV. Born October 31, 1978, he was the son of Mary Ethel Meadows Wade of Princeton, WV, and the late Kenneth Richard Wade, Sr. Richie was of the Baptist Faith. He was a loving son, brother, and devoted husband. He could talk to anyone and enjoyed good conversations and talking about the Lord. He loved spending time at the river and listening to music. Richie was a lover of nature and the country, and he will be missed by all who knew him.

In addition to his mother, survivors include his loving wife, Lucille Ann Haywood Wade of the home; one brother, Carl Wade of Ballard, WV; one sister, Amy Beth Rose of Princeton, WV; two uncles, Mack Meadows and wife Faye of Ballard, WV, and Bennie Meadows and wife Nola of Peterstown, WV; one niece, Shiloh Lucas and husband Mark of Princeton, WV; and several cousins and close friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00PM on Wednesday, January 31, 2024, at the Broyles-Shrewsbury Funeral Home Chapel in Peterstown, WV, with Pastor Dave Spencer officiating. Burial will follow at the Thompson Chapel Community Church Cemetery in Mandeville, WV, with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be held from 12:00PM until time of services on Wednesday at the funeral home.
