<p>Edna “Faye” Robinson</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p>On January 19, 2024 , Edna Faye Robinson peacefully passed away surrounded by family at the age of 87 to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She was born December 6, 1936 in Smiley, Texas, where she grew up and graduated from Smiley High School, class of 1955. Faye married Warren Wesley “Billy” Robinson on July 9, 1955 and they raised their three children in Luling, Texas and then settled in Smiley, Texas for their later years into retirement.</p><p><br></p><p>Faye, who very often introduced herself as Granny, was devoted in faith and family. She was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Smiley, a supporter of Christian missionary work, and a strong prayer warrior. She will be fondly remembered for her love of sharing her handmade needle work, her cooking and baking, daily phone calls, her willingness to always be on the go and her fun spirit and witty sense of humor. </p><p><br></p><p>Faye is preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Billie Faye Padgett; grandsons, Terry “Joey” Key, Jr. and Travis Robinson; granddaughter, Brittany Balderas; brothers, J.D. and Bob Copeland; and sisters, Viva Holder and Verna Smith. </p><p><br></p><p>Faye is survived by her son, Robby Robinson; daughter Candyce Guidry (Richard); her grand children, Kimberly Wright (Johnny), Jeffrey Spears (Tracie), Summer Beavers (Russell), Krystal Cantu (Samuel); Bambi Rasmussen, Derik and Misty Robinson; fourteen great grandchildren, Dylan, Corbyn, and Shaylan Wright, Jerin, Krystan, and Jeriden Cantu, Jonathan Sepulveda, Jayla Ornales, Jennifer, Jose Adam, Jr., and Jasmine Balderas, Dave Coffey, Austin Key, and Greysen Beavers; and two great-great grandchildren Blakelynn Wright and Penelope Sepulveda. Faye is also survived by her many very special nieces, nephews, cousins and in-laws in which she loved very much. </p><p><br></p><p>She will be in our hearts forever and missed by all who knew her kind and caring spirit. Edna “Faye” Robinson



On January 19, 2024 , Edna Faye Robinson peacefully passed away surrounded by family at the age of 87 to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
