Wayne McCulloch

<p>Wayne McCulloch, beloved partner of Helen Ingbrigtson, of Preeceville, passed away on Monday, January 22, 2024. He was 83 years of age. </p><p>Wayne was born on July 23, 1940, to Robert and Dorothy McCulloch, in British Columbia. Wayne went to school and he apprenticed as a welder. He worked hard in the autobody shop that he owned and operated, doing autobody work, welding and operating a tow truck. </p><p>In the late 1990s he moved to Saskatchewan to get away from the rain in BC. Wayne loved the cold Saskatchewan winters. </p><p>Wayne and Helen met on April 5, 2012. They spent the next 12 years supporting one another and enjoying life together. Wayne and Helen enjoyed meeting with friends, going for coffee and spending time together. Wayne had a heart of gold and especially loved dogs. </p><p>Wayne stayed busy doing various mechanical things and enjoyed spending his time working on alternators, generators and starters. Wayne was gifted in these areas and, because he enjoyed this type of work, he was able to stay busy with something that he loved. </p><p>Later in life, diabetes caused Wayne’s health to deteriorate. He continued to do the things that he loved, but at a slower pace and with less regularity. </p><p>Wayne will be missed by his many friends and family. </p><p>The Funeral Service was held on Saturday, January 27, 2024, from the Chapel of Preeceville Funeral Home, with Crystal Bailey, Certified Celebrant, officiating. Interment followed in the Poplar Grove Cemetery, north of Ketchen, with Jason Manastyrski serving as the urn bearer. Memorials in memory of Wayne may be made to the Diabetes Foundation or to a charity of one's choice as gifts of remembrance.
