Dixie - Graveside Services for Mr. Billy Wayne Griffith, 78 of Loco are scheduled for 10:00 A.M., Monday, January 29, 2024 at Dixie Cemetery.  Rev. Jerry Gunsolus officiating.  Services are under the care and direction of Alexander Gray Funeral Home in Ringling. 


Billy was born December 13 1945 in Ringling, OK to the late Mr. Dale and Rosie (Lyle) Griffith.  He departed from this life on Wednesday, January 24, 2024 at his home in Loco.  


Billy was raised in the Ringling, Loco, and Pinto area all his life and was a graduate of Fox High School.  He married Penny Burton in January of 1969 and together they were blessed with two children, Paula and Greg.  Later he married Bonnie Gaither on February 2, 2008 in Velma and together they made their home in Loco.  Billy worked in the oilfield and carpentry fields most of his life.  He enjoyed spending time with family having cookouts and he loved to dance.  Billy used to say back in the day, that he was "Wild Bill", now he said he is "Sweet William".  


Preceding him in death were his parents; sister, Kathy Cox; and a son, Micky Lee Teeter in 1998. 


Billy is survived by his wife, Bonnie; children, Paula Breakfield and husband Dink, Greg Griffith and wife Sherrie, Jammey Howard and husband Chris; Billy Blackstone and wife Chrissa, Catrina Spangler and husband Michael, Ben Teeter and wife Kim, and Kristi Collins; grandchildren, Jason and Brandi Breakfield, Brandon Breakfield, Kayla Chapman, Derrick Chapman, Kallie and Billy Gingery, Mackenzie and Cobey Pruitt, Dylan and Maci Lambert, Ciera Newcomb, Nick and Payton Blackstone, Lacy, Jordon, and Morgan Blackstone, Luther LeeWayne Teeter, Wyatt Teeter, Sarah Haslacker, Katy Haslacker, Desi and Halie Gomez, Kara and Melanie Teetleton, Rigen and Audrey Howard, Ceadon Lowry, Liz Wood, Jadyn Lowry, Kade Stewart, Raleigh Lowry, and Kaleb Chapman; 24 great grandchildren; sister, Karla Dewbre and husband Billy Joe; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends. 


Pallbearers will be Mark Keenan, Monty Keenan, Glen Ray Hurst, Joyle Hurst, Jackie Dale Southerland, Jerry Dean Southerland.  Honorary bearers will be James Cross, David Gaynich, Tony Gaynich, Glenn Hurst, Joe Don Southerland, Jackie Southerland, Bobby Southerland, Billy Southerland, Darrin Griffith, Charlie Griffith, Brandon Breakfield, and Dink Breakfield. 


A Visitation will be held Sunday evening from 5-7 P.M. at Alexander Gray Funeral Home in Ringling.
