<p><p>Jewell Helen Self, age 94, of Clarksville, TN passed away on Wednesday, January 24, 2024 surrounded by her loving family.</p><p>Celebration of Life will be held 11:30 a.m. Saturday, January 27, 2024 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Revs. David Mackens and Will Binkley officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.</p><p>The family will receive friends on Saturday from 9 a.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.</p><p>Jewell entered this life on May 12, 1929, in Nashville, TN to the late Minor and Jewell Allen Rittenberry. She was a laundry presser for 15 years. Having spent ten of those years at Swift Cleaners and five at Holiday Inn. She was a member of Lone Oak Baptist Church, and found enjoyment in reading, and dancing. Jewell was especially fond of square dancing.</p><p>In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, George Allen Self, and daughter, Joyce Rushing.</p><p>Survivors include her children, Wanda Juanita, Bobby Joe Self, Janie Louise Klein (Wes), Sandra Kay Hood, and Ruth Evelyn Harrison, many beloved grandchildren, step-grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.</p><p>Pallbearers will be Scotty Stockman, Bruce Self, Jennifer Jones, Derek Klein, Mark Rushing, Christopher Hood, Tyler Self, and Jay Lee.</p><p>In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation at msfocus.org</p><p>Online condolences may be made at www.NaveFuneralHomes.com</p><p> </p><p></p><p></p><p></p></p>Obituary
