Robert J Serjak, 86, of New Castle passed away the morning of January 23, 2024 at UPMC Jameson.

Born in Bessemer, PA on February 28, 1937, Robert was the son of the late Joseph and Stella Gargacz Serjak.

Robert married his beloved wife, the former Marjorie Williams on April 22, 1972. She preceded him in death in 2001.

Robert had worked as a Machine Operator for the former Rockwell International until he retired. He also enjoyed carpentry work.

Robert was a member of Holy Spirit Parish. He had proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army.

He was an avid Cleveland Browns fan. Robert also enjoyed being in the outdoors going hunting and fishing.

Robert is survived by his three children, Denise Fusco, Anthony Orten and Mitch Serjak, his sister, Connie Powell, his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents and wife, Robert was preceded in death by his brother, Larry Serjak.

Honoring his wishes’, a private Blessing Service will be held at the Ed & Don DeCarbo Funeral Home & Crematory, 3000 Wilmington Road. Father Benjamin Barr will officiate. The New Castle Area Honor Guard will perform full Military Rites at the funeral home.

Burial will be in St. Anthony Cemetery.
