BALLARD, WV – Roy Leon Crosier, age 86, passed away on Tuesday, January 23, 2024, at the Bowers Hospice House in Beckley, WV. Born May 22, 1937, in Peterstown, WV, he was the son of the late Roy Lee and Bessie F. Humphreys Crosier. Leon had recently attended the Lindside Christian Church. He worked at Celanese for 30+ years until his retirement.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Shelby Bradley Crosier; grandson, Troy Broyles; granddaughter, Jennifer Buzzo; two sisters, Betty Sue Wills and Doris Ann McMillian; and two brothers, Bobby and Billy Crosier.

Survivors include two daughters, Sharon Buzzo and husband Larry, and Karen Gore and husband Jim, all of Peterstown, WV; one brother, Donald Crosier of Dublin, VA; two sisters, Nora Lee Wickline of Lindside, WV, and Frankie Jane Rice of Peterstown, WV; grandchildren, Meagan Jones and husband Mark, Jeremiah Tuggle and wife Cortney, all of Peterstown, WV, Sarah Edwards and husband Jason of Pearisburg, VA, and Michelle Mann and husband Michael of Lindside, WV; great grandchildren, Kora, Kendall, Will, Madalyn, Rylan, Isla, Roman, Trenton, Jacob, and Zachary; and special niece, Paula Dunbar and husband Carl of Ballard, WV.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00PM on Thursday, January 25, 2024, at the Orchard Cemetery in Ballard, WV, with Gary Hazelwood officiating.
