Barbara Ruth (Lilly) Shivers, 79, of Cleburne, passed away Tuesday, January 23, 2024 in Cleburne. She was born April 18, 1944 in Cleburne to Louis Kellis Sr. and Beatrice (Stepp) Lilly. Barbara married Samuel Shivers in 1975 in Cleburne. She worked as a seamstress for over 20 years for Walls Industries. Barbara loved plants and animals. She did a lot of volunteer work, cooking and sewing. She loved spending time with her grandchildren. Barabara was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She will be greatly missed.

Barbara is survived by her daughter, Donna Collins Smith and husband, Joseph M. Smith; stepdaughter, Patricia Shivers Polson; adopted son, Bobby Collins; grandchildren, Clifton J. Collins, Shelby T. Collins, Samantha, Anthony and Justin; step grandchild, Christopher Smith,; great-grandchildren, Noah, Adrian, Gabriel, Atalyn, Laura, Aylen, Willow, Celeste, Lana, Lilly and Brantley; her beloved puppy, Izzy; sister Maggie Tiner; brothers, Carroll Lilly, Louis Lilly and Joe Lilly.

Barbara is preceded in death by her husband Samuel Shivers; brothers, Clinton Lilly and Bill Lilly; sister, Katherine Ann Lilly and her parents.
