Nancy passed away January 22, 2024, from complications from influenza. She had been sedated on a ventilator for 9 days at St. Francis Hospital but died a few hours after being released.

Nancy Anne Kimberlin Neal, born January 26, 1965, in St. Joseph Missouri to John Walter Kimberlin and Gloria Dragoo Kimberlin, originally of Pryor, Oklahoma.

Nancy is the mother of three sons, Randall Kimberlin Davis of Missouri, Johnathan Wilson, and James Neal of the home in Claremore, Oklahoma.

Nancy was a proud member of the Cherokee Nation and worked with her maternal grandmother Jerri Rogers Chasteen of Pryor, compiling, translating, and computing tribal historical records from 1995 to 2006. She also worked as a commercial truck dispatcher and office manager until her retirement.

Preceding her in death was her father John Kimberlin, and one half-sister, Carrie Leigh Kimberlin, both of Springfield, Missouri.

Nancy is survived by her mother, Gloria Dragoo Murray of Owasso, Oklahoma, half brothers Freeman N. Bull IV, Glenn Walter Kimberlin, and John Wesley Kimberlin, and her estranged husband, Owen Neal of Salina, Oklahoma, half-sisters, Debra Marie Mouse of Claremore and Martha Arlene Kimberlin of Missouri. Nancy has two grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Nancy was known as a great cook. Her specialty was creating wonderful pies and hosting the extended family feast every Thanksgiving and Christmas. She loved to fish at Claremore Lake, hunt mushrooms and wild onions at Hawthorne Campgrounds. She enjoyed deer hunting and loved hunting arrowheads. Some of her ashes will be placed in her favorite spots.

Memorial services will be held on February 3rd at 12 noon at Rice Funeral Service 631 East Will Rogers Boulevard, Claremore, OK 74017 followed by a family luncheon at Main Street Tavern 116 North Missouri Avenue Claremore, OK 74017.
