Corene (Wood) Rouell

Corene (Wood) Rouell went to be with the Lord on January 19, 2024 at 6:45 a.m. She was born on July 19, 1935 in Keota, OK to Ona and Zena (Boatwright) Wood. She loved to cook, go to church, work puzzle books, go to garage sales and spend time with her family. She was always telling people "You're Precious " and "I Love You".  

She is survived by 2 sons - Gene Rouell and wife Donna of Ft. Gibson, Allan Rouell and wife Susan of Keefeton, 2 daughters - Sandy LeCompte and husband Randy of Muskogee, and Debbie Hood and husband Bruce of Tahlequah; 9 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren, one sister Willene Tahkofper of Del City, one brother Hermon Wood of Collinsville and numerous nieces and nephews that she dearly loved. 

She was preceded in death by her parents Ona and Zena Wood, her husband, Webb Rouell, 1 son Audrey Dan Rouell, 6 brothers: Charles Wood, John Wood, Dan Wood, Sam Wood, Glen Wood and TJ Wood and 2 sisters: Hazel Downey and Jerrye Crawford. 

Pallbearers will be: Jamie Wood, James Key, Dustin Wallace, Kevin Williams, Les Rouell and Don Crawford.

Honorary Pallbearers will be: Amos Rouell, Jordan Rouell, Royce Buckmaster, Patrick Wood and Jerry Mayo. 

Viewing will be from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 24, 2024 at Hunn Funeral Home.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, January 25, 2024 at Old Cache Cemetery in Keota, OK with Bro.
