Pearl Lavina Carpenter, 70, of Charles Town, passed away Sunday, January 14, 2024, at the Willow Tree Manor. Born January 28, 1953, in Ranson, she was the daughter of the late Levi Corder and Clara Buzzard.

Pearl was a member of the Johnsontown Baptist Church, in Hedgesville. She loved her grandchildren, holidays, and parties. She took care of everyone.

She is survived by four sons: Marvin Stump, and wife Bonnie, of Charles Town, Noah Wahler, of Morgantown, Sean Huff, and wife Tiffany, of Havelock, North Carolina, and Zachary Huff; one sister, Linda Diblebliss, of Martinsburg; five grandchildren: Joshua Huff, and wife Donicka, of Houston, Texas, Madison Smith, Lillian Stump, Isiah Stump, and Thaddeus Stump, and five great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Carpenter; daughter, Tonya Marie Huff; brothers: Frank and Donald Corder, and three sisters: Doris Green and Mary and Patricia Corder.

Services and interment will be private.
