<p>Service for William “Will” Payne, 76, of Dallas will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Friday, January 19, 2024 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Burial will follow in Rosehill Cemetery in Cleburne. Visitation will be 12:00 to 1:00, January 19, 2024 prior to service at the funeral home.</p><p><br></p><p>Will passed away Monday, January 8, 2024 in Arlington. He was born September 6, 1947 in Cleburne to William Wallace and Annie Lee (Key) Payne. He was a member of Field Street Baptist Church in Cleburne. Will was a vice president at Midway National Bank in Grand Prairie then moved to financial manager at the Dodge dealership in Arlington. He was an avid baseball fan and Dallas Cowboy fan. He enjoyed amateur photography and had a great sense of humor. Will could tell a great funny story about family and friends. He will be greatly missed.</p><p><br></p><p>Will is survived by his son, Trey Payne and wife, Laura of Arlington; sister, Paula Waller Pyrum of Cleburne; nieces, Leigh Ann Waller Palmer of Fate, Angela Mills of Cedar Hill, Alicia Nemic of Frisco; nephews, Robert Lance Waller of Stephenville, Johnny Joe Tidwell of North Richland Hills, Travis Tidwell of Grand Prairie and several great nieces and nephews.</p><p><br></p><p>Will is preceded in death by parents and sister, Delores Tidwell.</p><p><br></p>
