Romans 9 38-39 </p><p><br></p><p>Beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He died Sunday, Jan 14. He was 93 years old, a resident of Slaughter. He was a proud logger and a mentor to many. He also was an avid car enthusiast. Visiting will be at Plank Road Baptist Church, Slaughter, on Sunday January 21, 2024 from 12:30 until service at 2:30 conducted by Rev. Bernie Schmidt. Burial to follow in Plank Road Baptist Church cemetery. He is survived by his two daughters, Jami Thomas and Alison Duplessis and husband, Sam. Three grandchildren, Kaitlin Perry, Glenn Duplessis and wife, Abby, and Evan Duplessis. Sister Ada Dyer; Nieces and Nephews, Dennis Aucoin and wife Rachel, Becky Aucoin, Bob West, Larry Thomas and wife, Kathy, Steven Thomas and wife, Lynn, Scott Thomas, Elizabeth Brown and husband, Steve, Jay Hunt, Stacy Wheeler and husband, Jeff, and Stephanie Kerr. Special friends John and Inez Bond and Dan and Betty Patridge. He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Helen, his parents Noel Sr. and Mary Elizabeth Thomas, siblings Noel Jr Thomas and wife, Patsy, John "Billy" Thomas, Miriam White and husband, Sid, niece Karla West, and nephew Jack Williams. Pallbearers will be Sam Duplessis, Glenn Duplessis, Evan Duplessis, Lee Perry, Bob West, Dennis Aucoin, Larry Thomas, Steven Thomas, Scott Thomas, and Jay Hunt. He was a charter member of Plank Road Baptist Church, and an Ordained Deacon of the church. </p>
