Jane Schmidt, age 64, of rural Eddyville, IL (formally of Suring, WI) passed away January 14, 2024 at her home.

Jane was born August 21, 1959 to Kenneth and Charmaine (Noll) Ukasick in Milwaukee, WI. She and her husband owned an over the road trucking company, J & G Schmidt Trucking.

Jane enjoyed going horseback riding, hunting, her dogs and raising miniature Hereford cows.

Jane is survived by her husband of 30 years, Glen Schmidt; mother, Charmaine Ukasick of Brookfield, WI; three step-daughters, Jennifer (John) Cerrato of Mequon, WI, Julie (Jason) Trakel of West Bend, WI, Jamie (Ramero) Dunkley of Sussex, WI; five grandchildren; sister, Amy Ukasick of Milwaukee, WI; brother, Andrew (Julies) Ukasick of Marshall, WI.

Jane was preceded in death by her father.

A celebration of life will be held at a later time.
