Delbert Lee Hamner, 83, husband of Florence Hamner, of Lancaster died Monday, January 15th, 2024 in Lancaster. Born June 13th, 1940 in Burgin he was the son of the late James Herbert and Ima Lee Galliher Hamner. He had served as a member of the Army National Guard. He was a farmer and a member of the Beuna Vista Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing and visiting Gatlinburg and the Smoky Mountains.

Additional survivors including his wife are one son: Scott Hamner of Lancaster; one daughter: Faith (Scott) Beedy of Lancaster; two brothers: Gene (Patsy) Hamner of Lancaster and Dale (Ruby) Hamner of Lancaster; one sister: Kay Ward of Springboro, Ohio; four grandchildren: Kim Jones, Eric Hamner, Brittany Beedy and Kelsey Beedy; four great-grandchildren: Emma Hamner, Paige Hamner, Lucas Jones, and Justin Hamner; and several nieces and nephews also survive. He was preceded in death by three brothers: Jimmy Hamner, Clifford Hamner and Donald Lewis.

Memorial services will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, January 26, 2024 at the Buena Vista Baptist Church with Bro. Wayne Braswell officiating.

Visitation will be 12 Noon Friday at the church.
