Earle Nathan Hayden

<p>Earle Nathan Hayden 91, passed away peacefully on Tuesday January 16, 2024 after a short battle with cancer.&nbsp; He was born on December 16, 1932 to Earle and Bertha (Bird) Hayden in Georgia, VT. </p><p>He married Shirley Ann (Curtis) Hayden in 1954.&nbsp; Together they raised Gregory Mark Curtis (Lorrie), Lyndy Lee Hayden, Nathan Scott Hayden and Bruce Shepard Hayden (Deborah). </p><p>He later married Carol Adams in 1979, and together they raised Darcie Ann Hayden (Rick Hoadley) and Gabrielle Erin Renault (Jason).&nbsp; He is survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.&nbsp; He was predeceased by his brothers Philip and Gerald Hayden. </p><p>He spent many years working maintenance at Copley Hospital and then as a route salesman for J.J. Nissen Bakery. </p><p>He was an avid golfer and spent many evening twilights with the foresum: Jim Miller, Jim Hall and Rick Grant.&nbsp; The four of them made several trips to Myrtle Beach to play in the World Amateur Golf Tournament. </p><p>A celebration of life will be held on Sunday February 4, 2024 from 1 to 4 pm at the Hyde Park VFW.&nbsp; Contributions in his memory may be made to the Junior Golf League in care of Copley Country Club, 441 Copley Country Club Road, Morrisville, VT 05661. </p><p>Arrangements are with the des Groseilliers Funeral Home in Hardwick.
