It is with heavy hearts that Kelly's family announces his sudden passing at the age of 63, on Friday January 12, 2024 at Haldimand War Memorial Hospital. Beloved husband to Cathy DeForest (nee. Hardy) and loving father of Tanya (Josh Preston). Kelly will be lovingly remembered by his siblings and large extended family and friends. Kelly is predeceased by his infant son Devon and parents Robert & Barbara DeForest.

In keeping with Kelly's wishes, cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday January 27th from 3pm to 8pm at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 159, 11 Talbot Street West, Cayuga, On. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Ballard Minor Funeral Home, 315 Broad Street East, Dunnville, Ontario, N1A 1G4. (905-774-7277). In memory of Kelly, donations to Heart & Stroke Foundation and Canadian Cancer Society, Stop Smoking would be appreciated by his family.
