Ruth N. 'Penny' Preston

Ruth N. "Penny" Preston (nee Nelson), age 70, of Springfield, PA, passed away on January 28, 2017. Born in Wynnewood, PA, she was the daughter of the late James H. and Ruth L. Nelson (nee Levis). Penny worked in retail banking for over 40 years at locations throughout the Delaware Valley, starting her career at First Pennsylvania Bank in the early 70s and retiring with Santander Bank in 2012. After retiring, she spent her time reading, knitting, relaxing with her family, and enjoying the beach in Avalon, New Jersey. Penny is survived by her beloved husband, E. Michael Preston, and her loving children Christopher M. Preston, Brian J. Preston (Heather) and David E. Preston (Melissa). She is also survived by her sister, Deborah N. Martin (Albert F.), her nephew Thomas N. Brown and niece Kathryn Biddle (Charles).
