Betty Jean Phillips passed away on January 11, 2024, at the age of 88.

She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Eugene Phillips Sr., her son Eugene Phillips Jr., his wife Shelia Phillips, and her daughter Holly Sweigard, her husband Dave Sweigard. She also had 4 grandchildren Sherry Kramer, Malissa Craig, Michael Sweigard and Mitchell Sweigard. Along with 8 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Nell Jamison, and brothers, Arnold Hayes and Bub Hayes.

She is predeceased by her parents Herbert and Lilly Hayes, and her brother Harold Hayes and baby sister Ethel Hayes.

Betty loved to laugh, tell stories and garden. She also liked to travel, which she did with her husband, children and grandchildren. She like animals, nature and being outdoors. She was loved and will be missed.

A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, January 15, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Pine Grove Cemetery, 100 Pine Grove Lane, Elverson PA 19520 with Pastor Deane Boyd officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Ebenezer Bible Church, 289 Warwick Furnace Road, Elverson PA 19520.
