Funeral Services will be held on Monday, January 15, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. in St. Joseph Catholic Church in Rayne for Francis Pellissier, Sr., 89 who passed away at his home in Rayne surrounded by his family on Thursday, January 11, 2024 at 6:27 P.M.

Fr. Brian Harrington, Pastor of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Church Point will be officiating for the services. Burial will be held in St. Joseph Catholic Church New Cemetery in Rayne.

The family has requested visitation to be held on Monday, January 15, 2024 at 9:30 A.M. until time of service in the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel in Rayne. A Rosary will be recited on Monday at 11:00 A.M. in the Funeral Home Chapel.

Survivors include his wife of sixty-four years, Leona B. Pellissier of Rayne; three sons, Louis James and wife, Molly Bourque of Rayne, Joseph Pellissier of Rayne, Francis “Tee” Pellissier, Jr., and wife, Tina of Rayne; four daughters, Brenda and husband, Ricky Alleman of Rayne, Janet and husband, Darren Thibodeaux of Rayne, Fran and husband, Calise Romero of Johnson Bayou, Kristin Navarre of Rayne; one brother, Adam Pellissier of Rayne; one sister, Lucille Cormier of Rayne; seventeen grandchildren; twenty three great-grandchildren, and one great-great-granddaughter.

Mr. Pellissier was preceded in death by one daughter, Connie Pellissier; his parents, Louis and Maggie H. Pellissier; one brother, Claude Pellissier; one sister, Antoinette Campbell; four infant siblings.
