Claud David Barger, age 66, of Harrisburg, IL passed away on January 7, 2024, at home.

He was born May 17, 1957, to Wendell Ray and Shirley (Stafford) Barger in Harrisburg, IL. Claud was a U.S. ARMY veteran. He was a retired truck driver.

Claud is survived by son, Claud E. “Dinker” (Bonnie) Barger, and their children Olivea, Charley, Braden, Jayden, Jared, Zane and grandson, Iaine; son, Chad (Tiffany) Gibbs, and their children, Karen, Shelbie, Aubre; daughter, Claudia Dawn Barger, and her children, Leo and William; son, David Leonard and family, close friend, Dallas Pritchett; brother, Stephen Barger; two sisters, Mary Eileen Thomas, and Clara (Claude) Gordon; several, nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents Claud was preceded in death by his wife, Twilight, Son, David Russell Barger, sister, Laura Ruth Braden

Funeral service will be 1:00 pm on Friday, January 12, 2024, at Aly Funeral Home in Eddyville, IL. Burial will follow at the Pleasant Ridge Cemetery. Bishop Albert Ingram will conduct the service. Visitation will be from 11:00 am until time of service at the funeral home.
