<p>Troy Grathler age 61, of Harrisburg, IL passed away on January 7, 2024, at home surrounded by his family.</p><p><br></p><p>Troy was born on November 1, 1962, to Samuel and Phyllis (Gibbons) Grathler in Harrisburg, IL. He was a retired correctional officer from IL Department of Corrections. He started his career in Pontiac, IL and retired from Harrisburg, IL. He loved to spend time with his grandchildren. He also enjoyed riding his Harley, guitars, and spending time with friends.</p><p><br></p><p>Troy is survived by his wife of 38 years, Peggy King Grathler of Harrisburg, IL; son Cory (fiancé Kristin Jeralds) Grathler of Marion, IL; two grandchildren, Camden Grathler, Charlotte Grathler; five siblings, Lisa (Lee) Buchanan of MO, twin brother, Roy (Marie) Grathler of Murphysboro, IL, Jeff (Wanda) Grathler of Stonefort, IL, Steve (Karla) Grathler of Murphysboro, IL, Sandra Grathler Call of Harrisburg, IL; several nieces, and nephews.<br></p><p><br></p><p>In addition to his parents, Troy was preceded in death by sister, Brenda Grathler, baby brother, Sammy Grathler, half-brother, Robert Noell.<br></p><p><br></p><p>Services will be held at a later date.<br></p>Obituary
