Holly Raychell (Baker) Reece, 43, of Knightstown, passed away unexpectedly early Saturday morning, January 6, 2024, at home.

She was born on February 8, 1980, in Greenfield, Indiana, the daughter of Dennis “Danny” and Crystal (Brown) Baker.

Holly was a full-time dog mom and had worked at Knightstown Intermediate School and Creative Kids Childcare. She loved working with kids. Holly was a lover of people who never knew a stranger, and never judged anyone. She loved being with her family, reading, diamond painting, coloring, talking for hours on the phone, and singing karaoke.

Those left to cherish Holly’s memory include her two children, Kamryn “Kammie” Reece of Carthage and Gunnar Keith Reece of Knightstown; her lifelong partner, Brandon Foxen of Knightstown; her former husband and friend, Fred Reece of Knightstown; her mother, Crystal Baker of Lewisville; her mother-in-law, Vicky Reece of Knightstown; four brothers, Keith (Michelle) Baker of Knightstown, Eric “Zeke” (Robin) Magee of Laurel, Shawn Baker of Kennard, and David Baker of Columbus; a sister-in-law, Jodi Shields of Carthage; nieces and nephews, Aubrey Manning, Jeremiah, Dominic, Sophia, Camille and Matthew Baker, Angeline (Bryan) Feilen, Mika (Kevin) Powell, Jordan and Madison Baker, Macey Chew, and Vettica Clancy, and Holly’s other “children” her dogs, Molly, Brantley, and Koda.

Holly was preceded in death by her dad, Dennis “Danny” Baker, in 2023; her grandparents, Charles and Lula Brown and Nora Cline; and her father-in-law, Rocky Reece.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, January 13, 2024, at Heritage Funeral Care in Knightstown.

Friends may gather from 12:00 pm until the time of the service on Saturday at the funeral home.
