Elizabeth was born in Morley, Yorkshire, England, on December 6, 1930, to Nellie and Norman Smith. She passed away peacefully at the Brockville General Hospital on Thursday, January 4, 2023, at the age of 93 years. Beloved wife of the late Robert MacKenzie and cherished mother to Stephen Taylor (Moira) and stepmother to Kathy Noonan (Richard). Sadly missed by her grandsons Colin Taylor (Christina), Micheal Taylor (Natalie McLeod) and Shaun Taylor and by her great grandson Austin Stephen Taylor. Fondly remembered by her dear friend of 35 years, Tung Nguyen and his sons Michael and David.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 10, 2024 at the Irvine Memorial Chapel at Roselawn, 2451 County Road 15, Maitland from 1-4 pm with words of remembrance at 1:30 pm . As expressions of sympathy, donations to Ontario SPCA Leeds & Grenville Animal Centre will be gratefully acknowledged.
