Mr. Russell W. Green, Jr., age 83 of South Hill died Saturday, December 30, 2023. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Gerlinde M. Green of South Hill; his children, Bruce Green (Anne) of Kentucky, Silvia Green Jablonski (Edwin) of Alexandria, Nancy Lawn (Tom) of Florida, and Robert Green (Missy) of Salem; and daughter in law, JoAnne Green. Also surviving are numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nieces, Cindie Shrum Audia and Suzie Shrum Vitale. Mr. Green was preceded in death by his son, Russell W. Green III.

Mr. Green was a veteran of the U. S. Army and worked for the Office of Personnel Management. Mr. Green loved fishing on the Coast of Cape Hatteras, Camping (RVing) and Golf.

Services will be held at a later date at Acacia Park Cemetery, Beverly Hills Michigan. Farrar Funeral Home of South Hill is serving the Green family.
