<p>Kenneth Ray Phillips, 75 Brent, AL went to his eternal home on December 29, 2023. He was born on September 8, 1948, in Tuscaloosa, AL to Eli Phillips and Merlin Terrell Phillips. He was a veteran, a carpenter and a maintenance man for Brent Housing Authority.</p><p><br></p><p>He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister and four brothers. He is survived by his wife, Mary Phillips; his daughters, Amy Riser (Bill), Emily Fondren (Daryl) and Katie Crofford (Ben); and his sons, Kenneth Ray Phillips II, and Josh Phillips. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, Jessica (David), Cydnie, Gabriel, Amelia, Adam, Sophie, Darci, Trey, Noah, Emma Claire, Benji, Retta, and one great-grandchild, Camdyn. </p><p><br></p><p>Visitation will be held from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm on Wednesday, January 3, 2024, at the Four Points Baptist Church in Centreville, AL. A graveside service will follow at Four Points Baptist Church Cemetery at 12:00 with Stan Huguley and Taylor Gurley officiating and Kirk Funeral Homes, Marion Chapel directing. Pallbearers will be Josh Phillips, Noah Phillips, Kenneth Phillips II, Trey Phillips, Adam Riser, Gabriel Haney, Bill Riser, Daryl Fondren, Ben Crofford, and Benji Crofford. Honorary pallbearers are the past and present employers of Brent Housing Authority, Tommy Joe Moore and Pat Deason.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p>Obituary
